This can cause reduced brake performance. Note: A brake fluid leak would cause the brake warning light to turn on.

Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance could cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the front brake hoses. Recall Details

  • LINCOLN CORSAIR 2020

Issue: On certain vehicles, there may not be enough space between the rear coil spring and the rear toe link bracket. As a result, the protective coating on the coil spring could wear away. If this happens, over time, the spring could fracture. A spring that breaks could fall from the vehicle.

Safety Risk: A broken coil spring could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:  Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the clearance between the rear toe link bracket and the coil spring. If necessary, the toe link bracket edge will be trimmed and a new coil spring will be installed. Recall Details

Note: A driver may notice abnormal engine noise if a connecting rod fails.

Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, engine failure could create the risk of a fire.

Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display each time that the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Note: Deactivating stealth mode will return the display to normal operation.

Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver’s ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the body control module software. This update will disable stealth mode when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Recall Details
