Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the fuel hose and its clamp connections. The dealer will tighten or replace the components if required.

Canadian regulations require that the ESC warning light must turn on when the vehicle is started (under these conditions).

Note: This problem can only happen if there is a fault related to the power steering system. The power steering warning light would stay on to advise that there is a fault with the steering system.

Safety Risk: This small error does not affect vehicle safety.

Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. The company has made changes to the vehicle software to correct this issue on all new vehicles. Recall Details

Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the fuel pump module. Recall Details

  • FORD ESCAPE 2020

Issue: On certain vehicles, there may be a problem with the radio frequency receiver in the body control module (BCM). As a result, the signal from the rear tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) sensors may not be received. If this happens, the driver would not be warned if there is low tire pressure. Driving a vehicle with low tire pressure could lead to poor handling and/or a tire failure. This problem may also affect the remote key fob operation.

Safety Risk: A seat that is not properly attached could create an increased risk of injury in a crash.

Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the mounting bolts for the driver’s seat. The seat structure replaced, if necessary. Recall Details

  • MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 2020

Note: This problem could cause the brake pedal to ‘feel soft’ or cause the low brake fluid light to turn on. If you experience either of these symptoms, you should park your vehicle and contact your local Mercedes-Benz dealer.

Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the brake hoses on the rear and front axles. They will be replaced, if necessary. Recall Details
